Operation of the New Holland T7 series tractor in demanding conditions places requirements on the engine for stability and high traction. The electronic control unit (ECU) Boch DCU15C167, equipped with an ECU Micro processor, manages all aspects of the 6.7-liter I6 engine in the T7.185 model, which has a power output of 138 kW. ECU remapping is an adjustment of the software that allows adaptation of the engine’s operation to specific application tasks and increases its efficiency. During chip tuning, we analyze current engine performance parameters and, based on this data, make changes to the control algorithms. This allows achieving an optimal balance of power and torque, which is especially important when operating under load.
