ECU Chiptuning Performance Results
Estimated power and torque gains after Stage 1 ECU remapping
Torque Nm
Estimated Stage 1 gains are calculated from stock values using an approximate 20% increase. Actual performance improvements may vary depending on vehicle condition, fuel quality, hardware configuration and operating environment.
Chip tuning for the MACK Granite GU-erie 455 12.8L is a precise recalibration of the engine control unit (ECU) for the 2012 MACK Granite GU-erie truck. We work with the TRW EM2.2 ECU, which is equipped with an MPC5554 processor. During the ECU reflash process, fuel maps and engine operating algorithms are adapted to achieve more efficient operation of the 12.8-liter, 340 kW engine.
Particular attention is paid to optimizing fuel consumption and increasing engine life, which is critically important for heavy-duty trucks operating in demanding conditions. If required, the AdBlue, EGR, and DPF systems can be disabled, reducing operating costs and avoiding problems associated with their malfunction.
At AutoChip.lv, we analyze data from sensors and adapt the engine management program to ensure stable operation and optimal torque of 2386 Nm. This reduces engine load, improves its responsiveness, and provides smooth operation.
The ECU reflash is performed taking into account all technical features of the engine and the specifics of the truck’s operation. Chip tuning for the MACK Granite GU-erie 455 12.8L is aimed at increasing engine reliability and durability, as well as improving its performance characteristics.
