Polari General 1000 EP chip tuning is a recalibration of the engine control unit (ECU) – a Boch ME17.9.74 unit with a Micro ECU processor – for the 2016 Polari General motorcycle. Modern engines, such as the 1000 EP, are governed by complex algorithms embedded within the ECU, which dictate the operation of all systems. ECU remapping allows these algorithms to be adapted to specific operating conditions and the owner’s requirements.
